A BA or BS degree or higher degree in marketing, communications, social science or closely related field or documented experience in a nonprofit or agency setting.
Ability to work effectively and independently with others; to exercise discretion and independent judgment; to market program in variety of settings and to greet the public and represent the organization in a positive and professional manner.
Recruits and screens potential volunteer advocates; Responsible for seeking and attending opportunities/events; possess excellent public speaking skills, social media skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and have a willing attitude in an area of service
Provide all services within the agency’s stated purpose and in such a manner that optimum results will be achieved in relation to the resources of the agency. Also, provide program support as needed in areas such as public awareness, office management, and alternative financial sources.
Conduct recruitment and retention efforts, development and maintain working relationships with volunteer advocates and maintain all social media pages and website. Some travel and periodic nights and weekends required.
Duties depending upon experience, position could be part-time or full-time role.
