The Forensic Interviewer/Family Advocate(FI/FA) works directly with alleged child victims, their non-offending family members, Child Protective Investigators, Law Enforcement Officers, the District Attorney's office, along with other Multidisciplinary (MDT) Team members.
This individual must be willing to be trained in the specialized field of forensic interviewing and family advocacy. The FI/FA must also understand the purpose, function of the Paluxy River Children's Advocacy Center and be knowledgeable of existing policies and procedures.
There will be some travelling to the Granbury location and specific trainings.
At a minimum a Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in social service or criminal justice field; one year experience in non profit, volunteer, or victim advocacy, desire to work in a child-abuse/victimization field.
