Emerald Luxury Coaches is seeking a General Manager to direct and coordinate all manufacturing activities and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic plan for optimized productivity
- Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, creating/enforcing standard operating procedures (SOP), overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivational work environment, and implementing innovative changes
- Oversee key projects, processes and performance reports, data and analysis
- Adhere to company standards for excellence and quality
- Provide guidance and feedback to help all areas (HS&E, quality, manufacturing, facilities, engineering, purchasing, warehouse); help strengthen their specific knowledge/skill areas
- Oversee day-to-day operations, assign weekly performance goals and ensure their completion, and accomplish your own goals
- Recruit, onboard, and train high-performing employees to achieve objectives for sales and profitability
- Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished effectively
- Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans
- Delegate responsibilities to the best-qualified employees and enforce all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values
- Resolve internal staff conflicts efficiently and to the mutual benefit of all involved
- Oversees Manufacturing, Engineering, and Purchasing departments. Review production and operating reports and resolve operational, manufacturing, and facility issues to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays and to meet growth

Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to manage production processes while consistently meeting timelines
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business management or related field
- Experience in conducting performance evaluations
- Working knowledge of human-resources processes
- Engineering experience/degree is a plus
