Reimbursement & Billing Specialist:
- Oversee reimbursement activities to ensure appropriate and accurate payment for services rendered.
- Review, analyze and negotiate third party payer contracts.
- Run cost versus reimbursement analysis.
- Maintain electronic charge and provider database necessary for filing claims.
- Assist with charge entry prior to filing claims.
- Three years minimum experience in insurance with in depth knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial insurance company payment methodology.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Interact positively with vendors, staff and physicians.
- Think rationally and reason logically.
- Maintain absolute confidentiality.
