    JOB TITLE: Senior Accountant       
    DEPARTMENT: Office – Accounting
    LOCATION: Dublin, TX
    SALARY: $75,000 – 90,000/yr


    SUMMARY: Prime’s Senior Accountant is a key financial leader responsible for maintaining accurate financial reporting, overseeing core accounting functions, and supporting strategic decision-making. This role manages income statements, monthly financial reports, and annual audits. It also supervises Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Inventory Accounting staff, ensuring financial efficacy.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Financial Oversight: Prepare and review income statements, balance sheets, and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
    • Month-End & Year-End Close: Lead the preparation of monthly financial reports and support annual external audits.
    • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Coordinate with Purchasing, Sales, Project Management, and Production teams to ensure smooth communication, accurate data exchange, and alignment on financial processes.
    • Process Improvement: Evaluate and refine accounting controls, financial reporting processes, and ERP system usage to enhance efficiency.
    • Leadership & Staff Management: Provide guidance to the accounting team, mentoring and conducting performance evaluation.
    • Offer Assistance: Support the Controller and CFO in financial planning and analysis.
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, construction retail, or contract-based businesses.
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills required.
    • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to communicate financial data effectively to both accounting and non-accounting stakeholders.
    • Experience in leading or mentoring accounting staff is a plus.
