Swindle’s Jewelry Receives Prestigious Texas Treasure Business Award
Helping Our Community Sparkle and Shine for Over 80 Years
Stephenville, Texas – Swindle’s Jewelry has been designated as a Texas Treasure Business by the Texas Historical Commission. Founded in 1942 by Grady "Big Red" and Gracie "Gus" Swindle in Dublin, Texas, Swindle's Jewelry continues to be a family owned and operated jewelry store. During WWII, Grady and Gracie founded a watchmaking school in the back of their store in Dublin to provide disabled veterans returning home from war an opportunity to learn the trade. In the early 1980s Swindle’s Jewelry became famous for originating the coin class rings designed by Pinkie Swindle for Tarleton State University. Three generations of this family have been entrusted to help their customers with the most important days of their lives.
Please join the Swindle family at their store in the Bosque River Shopping Center on Thursday, February 8th at 5:00 p.m. as they celebrate their Texas Treasure Business Award.
*Also a great opportunity to do some shopping for your sweetheart just in time for Valentine's Day!
