This state-licensed facility has been serving Erath County since 1993. Students in pre-K through 6 grades are taught by caring, qualified teachers in a Christian atmosphere. There is a low student-to-teacher ratio and a computer lab with Internet access. Extended care before and after school is also available for students. The school is a member of Christian Schools International.

Approximately 120 students from grades 7-12 attend the public charter school. The institution offers students in the area an educational alternative from the traditional surrounding high schools and an approximate 1 to 14 teacher/student ratio. 

The school has been instructing for about a decade with an estimated 350 graduates.

A total of 100 students walk the halls of Bluff Dale ISD. Students have the opportunity to participate in UIL academic and athletic contests. Students have the advantage of at least eight computers in ever classroom with Internet access and small class sizes as they prepare to enter high school.

Morgan Mill school has about 100 students in K-8th grade and maintains a strong commitment to preparing students for high school and the future. Students have access to computers in every classroom as well as a computer lab.

Lingleville ISD

Located 10 miles from Stephenville, LISD has approximately 221 students in Pre-K through 12th grade at the end of the 2009-10 school year. Students have the opportunity to earn college and high school credit at the same time through participation in distance learning programs. LISD has a total of four computer labs and students have the benefit of Internet access in every classroom. 

The Lingleville Cardinals excel in both academic and athletic UIL competition, and a six-man football team will take the field in the 2010-11 school year for both junior high and high school athletics.

Huckabay Independent School District has approximately 200 students enrolled in grades K-12. The district places a strong emphasis on technology in learning with a total of three computer labs, one for distance learning. Students utilize the distance learning equipment to take college courses. 

Huckabay students have the opportunity to compete in both academic and athletic UIL competition.

TWISD offers instruction to students in pre-k through eighth grades, and also offers band, art, basketball and distance learning opportunities in addition to core curriculum.

The district strives toward its goal of serving the needs of the entire child through participation in academic, athletic, and cultural opportunities, allowing students to transition more smoothly into area high schools upon completion of eighth grade.

Tarleton State University serves as the educational and cultural center of the Cross Timbers and surrounding areas and has been ranked as one of the safest college campuses in Texas. The community is invited to attend the many athletic activities, concerts, plays, etc. offered. The university also has the only planetarium in The Texas A&M University System and offers public shows weekly. For more information, go to Tarleton Science Planetarium.

Founded in 1899, the institution became a member of The Texas A&M University System in 1917 and is the largest non-land grant agriculture university in the U.S. More than 67 bachelor's degrees and 22 master's degrees are offered through five academic colleges.

The University is continually improving programs and facilities. The most recent additions to campus include a $30.8 million science building, complete with a 64-seat, digital planetarium and a $6.1 million student-housing complex. Future improvements are planned with the conclusion of an ambitious $40 million capital campaign

Other locations include Terrell School of Clinical Laboratory Sciences in Fort Worth, Dora Lee Langdon Cultural and Educational Center in Granbury and W.K. Gordon Center for Industrial History of Texas near Thurber.

Ranger College opened a location in Stephenville in January 2010 to serve Erath County with general and continuing education courses.
